The Halco Roosta is on the cutting edge of modern popper design, with significant new innovations that improve the action and stability of this spectacular surface lure.

The head design which is wide at the top transfers to a widened tail end. This unique design creates a popper that is ideal for a straight fast retrieve or a stop and start bloop with exceptional splash.

The Roosta Popper 45 is designed to be used for straight retrieve popping and blooping. The low splash, high bubble retrieve is useful for fish that are shy of large splashes. The Roosta Popper 45 is an ideal size for bream, mangrove jack, and bass. It is a finesse style popper designed for use in tropical to temperate estuary fishing styles, but is also successful fishing flats and sheltered reef.

One size up from the RP 45, this Roosta Popper 60 has just that little bit more action for popping and blooping. It has many clear-bodied colour combinations to choose from, as well as the classic colours. The Halco Roosta Popper 105 Lure is a surface popper and blooper. Catch big salt water fish with this surface popping lure as it splashes about attracting nearby fish. By changing the height of your rod tip, you are able to change how the lure responds and swims underwater – a rod tip closer to the water surface produces a stronger bubble action and is ideal in rough conditions or strong winds. 

Halco’s highly durable Roosta Popper 135 will have you hooked on surface fishing in an instant. This is a highly durable retrieve popper and blooper which comes standard with #2/0 Mustad 3XX Trebles to ensure you land more fish, time and time again.

The Roosta Popper 160 is designed and build to get the maximum noise and splash out of a medium sized popper, while retaining superior casting capability, excellent strength and high durability.

Excessive effort is not required when working this popper. For best results point the rod tip at the lure and sweep the rod down 50-60 degrees, allow the lure to pause momentarily, wind in any slack line and repeat at irregular intervals.
