    What a lure

    I brought a few ecogear lures after watching a YouTube clip showing them being used to catch whiting.
    I never seem to have had any luck with lures, but thought I would give them a try.
    I usually catch beach worms to fish with.. So they are fresh.
    Anyway I caught 1/2 dozen good size whiting, on the worm and had enough for a feed and thought I’d give a red zx 35 a try. I was fishing a beach with a few rocky outcrops.
    Anyway, 30 minutes later.
    2 x 32cm Whiting
    1x 40 cm cod
    2 Moses perch
    And I wasn’t even sure I had the right action.
    Just a warning, the hooks are very deceptive. Although they seem small, they are very hard to remover from the hooked fish. Take a pair of pointy nose pliers for your own safety.
